Parnassos Stone Suites
Pool verifiedThe pool
The indoor pool sits in a vaulted stone cellar that used to be the building's olive press: warm water at 30°C, low amber lighting, and arrow-slit windows that frame Parnassos in the distance. It is small: a 12-metre pool for soaking and slow lengths, not for training.
Around it runs a compact spa level with a hammam and two treatment rooms, and one floor up a fireplace lounge where wet-haired guests reassemble over mountain tea. After a day on the Parnassos slopes, ten minutes up the road, the sequence writes itself.
The stay
Twelve suites in a restored stone mansion on Arachova's upper lanes, steep enough that the village rooftops become your view. The style is local and confident: stone, dark timber, woven wool, open fires in the larger suites.
Breakfast is cooked to order and unhurried; dinner means walking three minutes into a village that takes its tavernas seriously. This is an adults-only house, and it shows in the quiet. Not for everyone: the lanes mean stairs and more stairs, and parking is a short walk away: pack accordingly and the location pays you back every evening.
- Parnassos ski centre 10 minutes by car
- Hammam and two treatment rooms by the pool
- Adults-only: 12 suites, open fires in the larger ones
- Delphi 15 minutes downhill
