The villa's private pool runs along a pale deck beside the white pergola, with a wall of dark lava stone closing off the garden behind it and the volcanic hills around Yaiza rising beyond. It's a saltwater pool, heated and open all year, and it has its own cover.

Six outdoor pools spread through the gardens of this resort by the sea in Meloneras. The one to find first is the infinity pool, its edge running out towards the Atlantic.
