The pools are heated in winter, the main one is open all year with a shallow end for easing in, and there's a separate children's pool.
Sun loungers and umbrellas are included, and the pool bar keeps drinks coming through the day, with cocktails moving to the lobby bar in the evening. Children of any age are welcome, so expect a family crowd around the slide. The coast is about five minutes away by car, and the resort runs a free shuttle to the beaches with four departures a day. Gran Canaria airport is about 35 km by road, and the Meloneras and Maspalomas golf courses are both within 3 km.
The 234 apartments range from 29 m² studios to two-bedroom suites of 115 m² with a large balcony, a hot tub and a sauna. Every unit has a terrace, a kitchen and a hydromassage bath. The restaurant serves buffet and à la carte meals with barbecue nights, and there's tennis, mini golf and a supermarket on site.
Here's the thing: air conditioning only runs from June to September, which matters little in the Canarian winter but is worth knowing for spring and autumn stays.

The main pool is a big freshwater lagoon that curves through a garden of tall palms, heated through the cooler months. Alongside it sit two smaller adults-only pools in the spa: a 30°C saltwater pool with underwater massage jets and a brine pool kept at 30 to 33°C all year, with a hot tub corner. Children get their own pair: a shallow baby pool and a kids' pool with a slide, both heated.
