High on a hillside near Kissamos, each of the three white villas here has its own outdoor pool, set into a pale stone deck with a glass balustrade on the open side. From the water you look across green hillsides down to the sea. The pool is fenced and opens for the warm season.
The villa's private pool runs along a pale deck beside the white pergola, with a wall of dark lava stone closing off the garden behind it and the volcanic hills around Yaiza rising beyond. It's a saltwater pool, heated and open all year, and it has its own cover.

Behind a white single-storey house in Ingenio, the garden is yours alone: a private saltwater pool, heated and open all year, set into a green lawn with the hills in view beyond the fence. Steps lead down into the water at one end, and after dark the underwater lights turn the tiles a bright turquoise.

A painted mural runs along the terrace wall, and loungers line the paving around the water.

There's a shallow end for easing in, an outdoor shower beside the water, and the pool is open all year. Climb the outside stairs to the roof terrace and you look out towards the islands of Lobos and Fuerteventura.
Every villa at Opal has its own pool, curved into a lawn right in front of floor-to-ceiling glass, so from the water you look straight back into the living room. Pale stone edges the pool, the villas are faced in dark volcanic stone and orange render, and bare hills rise behind the garden walls.
