Children get their own pair: a shallow baby pool and a kids' pool with a slide, both heated.
Loungers and umbrellas wait under the palms, and the thatched African Bar serves drinks and Canarian tapas right at the water's edge. Adults can slip off to the spa pools and saunas, which are free for hotel guests, while Pepe's Club keeps 4 to 12-year-olds busy. The stay
Seaside Palm Beach stands on Avenida del Oasis in Maspalomas, 100 metres from Maspalomas Beach and right next to the sand dunes. Playa del Inglés is 4 km away and Maspalomas Golf Course less than 3 km, and parking on site is free.
The interiors are pure 1970s colour, designed by Alberto Pinto: every room comes in one of four colour schemes, with a furnished balcony and air conditioning. There are two restaurants and a bar, yoga, tennis and water aerobics are free, and the spa adds saunas, a steam bath and a salt cave.
Families are well looked after, with a playground, a kids' club and a children's menu, and pets are allowed on request. Pack with dinner in mind: there's a dress code, and men need long trousers and a sleeved shirt.
